In the morning we soaped each other down.
Smooth down my nightgown. Hungry, 'cause
the smells from the kitchen filled the room.
Don't wear your perfume today. 'We had this
habbit, ...we did.'
...and your water 's sloshing against the sides
of the bathtub. And I smeared our faces with cream.
